Hannover-Langenhagen Airport

<map lat='52.458454474973415' lng='9.70867395401001' zoom='14' view='3' float='right' /> Hannover-Langenhagen Airport (IATA: HAJ, ICAO: EDDV) is located in Langenhagen, 11 km north of the centre of Hanover, the capital of the German state of Lower Saxony. It is the ninth largest airport in Germany.

Hitchhiking out

Walk out of the airport in direction east. You'll recognize a motorway above you and a road leading out of the airport. Follow these for around 800m, until the road above you merges with the road below. On the right side there is a bus stop with a big bay. This is a good spot to start hitchhiking. Most drivers might go into the city only, but if you want to travel along the A2, try to catch a ride at least towards Garbsen Nord, where you can switch the service stations as well in all directions if necessary. It might be also possible to find rides here north and southbound.
