From [[Hamburg]] to [[Copenhagen]] you can hitch to the ferry at [[Puttgarden]], and get a ride straight to Copenhagen. If you ask the people after they paid the ticket you can cross for free (and save 7 euros). Tickets are per vehicle not person.

Hitch you self a ride to Padborg, in south Jutland just before the [[Germany|German]] border. Here you'll find the countrys largest truckstop, if not ask around. Most trucks leaving from Denmark stops here. With a little luck you'll find someone going to most destinations in Europe.
Ask the drivers while they are getting ready, filling-up on gas or walking from the diner to their car.
A car-ticket for the ferry includes up to 9 persons so it should by possible to get a free ride over and maybe further.
