We actually made According to some hitchhikers, it is quite possible to hitch all the way on this route (from [[Ciudad Guayana]] to [[Manaus]] - but take care), although it took us four might take some time (~4 days (actually we were quite lucky), and the road's not getting any better is in Brazilquite a pity condition. Although it is common in Venezuela to take passengers on the back of pick-ups are apparently , in Brasil such practice is not allowed to carry people in the back in Brazil.
