It helps a lot to use a sign saying "A2 - WEST". Try to get a ride at least to ''Garbsen'', just outside of '''Hannover.''' There is a huge service area.

From the town city center, (''Kröpke'') take the tram #4 U4 to ''Garbsen'' (the last station). Then There switch over to bus #126 towards ''Altgarbsen/Waldschänke''. The last bus station stop is located directly in front of a very big the service areastation [[Garbsen Süd]]. From the central station, the ticket is EUR 2,70 and it will take about 30 to 40 minutes. There is a lot of traffic, you won't have to wait long. If you need to go westwards, just walk leftright, follow the road for 400m, walk down under the bridge and you'll see the service station at [[Garbsen Nord]] on the other side.
