If you find a driver who is passing Magdeburg on the A2 but not willing to bring you into the city, you can ask hir<!--this is supposed to be a gender neutral pronoun--> to drop you off at the '''exit ''Magdeburg Rothensee''''' because the '''tram stop ''Barleber See''''' is directly next to it. The last train (Tram 10 at daytime, Tram 94 at night) leaves at 23:17 and the first at 5:47. However, if you miss the last one, you can also walk 3 km to the stop '''Hohenwarther Straße''' – just follow the big road. There, Tram 94 can pick you up at 0:02, 0:52, 1:52, 3:02 every day and 4:21 on weekdays or 4:07, 4:28 and 4:52 on weekends. <small>(all times as of January 2009)</small> Otherwise, the industrial area has acceptable sleeping places in the grass if you walk around a bit.
