When hitching on [[slip roads]] to the motorway, people rather stop if you are at the bottom of the slip road than at the top of it. Most [[on-ramp|ramp]]s in Denmark have enough space for cars to stop.
Hitching appears to be better in the West of the country than nearer to Copenhagen.
