But most fortunatelly (compare with the rest of eu mediterrenean countries), there are still loads of locals don't know about beaches that rule, you can camp for free and without police problems. Police may "attacks" for fines (150 euros) during the summer months (july- august most probably nothing will happenpropable). But donSo it't risk anything s best to ask other free campers when you arrive in a beach.Camp freely anywhere in the mountains, valleys, hills, river beds etc. Nobody is going to chase you. Anyway the law that forbits free camping was created due to economical reasons so that hotels, organised campings and better all kind of touristic accomodation can flourish. Meaning that if you camp only if it where is already dark and be away in the early morning. Under no circumstances light a campfire somewhere in the countrysidetourism nobody will come after you.
