If it's probably illegal, there's no reason to recommend it above the place already mentioned, which is easy to reach and has abundant room to stop. :I don't necessarily agree for two reasons: a) is it in a different part of town and closer for a whole bunch of people and b) is it IMHO always preferrable to have if not several then at least two different options for hitching out of a town.
