:::::It is me who wrote the quoted phrase before I registered. I used to live in Rotterdam 5 years and I used this spot a lot. Maybe it is after a sign, I don't even remember. But seriously... who cares whether it is legal? For sure not the Dutch police ;-) As long as you are not in a dangerous spot and not on the highway itself they are okay (because they are pragmatic like no one.
