: : Is there a chance you will get for us one of these "This is an informative text, to endorsing any of this sides in the conflict" frames from wikitravel/wikipedia ? They seem to make people understand better that hitchhiking is not about borders, but the other way around. Thanks.

== From Jerusalem to Amman or the Dead Sea ==

The junction you want when hitchhiking east from Jerusalem is the Maale Adumin '''North''' junction. I took a service taxi from Damascus Gate in the direction of Abu Dis, but it went through Maale Adumin '''South''' junction, which is not good for going towards the Dead Sea (there's only one motorway entrance for both Jerusalem and the Dead Sea there, and the majority of cars are going towards Jerusalem).

I suppose that the road system has changed (like it constantly is all over Israel). If anyone knows a sherut from Damascus Gate that will get you to the North junction of Maale Adumin, please update the article. [[User:CRCulver|CRCulver]] 18:55, 1 January 2012 (CET)
