Once the A-30 will be completed, it will enable to by pass [[Montreal]] Island through the south as a continuation from the [[A-40 (Quebec)|A-540]] west of [[Montreal Metropolitan]]. It will also enable a direct connection from the [[A-40 (Quebec)|A-40]] and the [[A-20 (Quebec)|A-20]] while coming from [[Ontario]] to the highways heading to the [[Estrie]] Township ''([[A-10 (Quebec)|A-10]])'' and the [[United States of America|United States]] ''([[A-15 (Quebec)|A-15]])''.
