(proven more successful than previous, over time) - Go to a bus stop called Mokrohájska - buses 21,22,30,34,38,83 - the bus stop is on the road to Brno but it's not yet a highway. You can try hitch hiking directly 'behind' the bus stop, there's enough place for a hitch hiker to stand and for a car to stop.
