I recently hitchhiked from Haifa to Eilat via Road 6 and I would like to point out that it is more than possible for drivers to pull over at the shoulders of the road.
We got on and off rides at least 5 times even in the most busy sections.
Yes, it's a little scary because cars are going at 110 km/h and may honk at you for standing there but if it's a hot day and you're two nice girls you'll get picked up in no time :)[[User:BeckyZ|BeckyZ]] 08:03, 16 August 2012
