If you just pass the city (f.e. from Prague to Budapest) avoid at all costs to get droped on a petrol station in the city by a driver that goes to Bratislava itself. The road splits inside the city, the motorway is in the middle and the local traffic goes on a side road. Because of a wall there is no direct connection between the streets and the petrol stations are not on the motorway, so you would leave it and find only domnestic traffic.
