: Hi Kyle, I certainly had a great experience, and I've still got the whole rest of the summer to explore, so I'm not done yet! I'm doing a few weeks of traveling in the southwestern US, for which I'm leaving tomorrow. After that, in late June, I'm going to head up towards Michigan, and then over through the northern plains states and into Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming (possibly even out to California, if time allows) Although Blue Springs is my hometown, I'm only here for the summer, just transitioning between CT (where I was for Navy things) and OR (for college), and I'm out more than I'm in just due to all the hitching & various music festivals/traveling. Are you here in KC for the whole summer? I have transportation available when I'm here... I'm certain we could work something out. ::Hitting the road again June 21st. Will be through KC periodically after that, but I'm moving home base to New Mexico. When you go through the southwest I recommend Utah hwy 95, and Zion National Park. But then again, I travel for different reasons and tend to avoid paces with people and festivals. When going up to the great lakes, check out the "driftless area" and then the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. When in Montana, US hwy 212 going towards Yellowstone is often considered the prettiest road in America. Happy trails!
