Hitchhiking is a great way to get around. You get to know people, it's fun and it's free.
Hitchwiki is created by hitchhikers across the world, no one was paid. It's enabling hitchhikers to move around much easier thanks to knowledgethrough precise information about spots, general tips and tips about countries.
Hitchwiki has over 3000 pages in English, over 1200 in German and almost 300 in French. It's all licensed under the free CC-BY-SA license. We're using existing free software where possible (the same as Wikipedia) and original software has been developed which is all available under free software licenses.
