Consider getting on the {{Autobahn|92}} to [[Passau]]. Most of the international traffic (trucks) are going East by Passau while a lot of the traffic passing by [[Salzburg]] is going to [[Trieste]], [[Italy]].
[[User:bikepunk| Bikepunk]] Got stuck 14 hours at a huge [[Petrol station hitchhiking|Petrol station]] around [[Salzburg]] trying to get a ride to [[Vienna]].
If somebody found a good place to hitchhike this direction, please edit. I've tried this place http://hitchwiki.org/maps/?place=1292 , but had to give up, as everyone just went north.
