'''{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}Samos''' is a [[Greece|Greek ]] island located in the West, very close to [[Turkey]]. Hitchhiking around Samos is very easy and fun, both locals and tourists give you lifts. What makes it very enjoyable is that there is basically only one main road circling the whole island. Just beware of lack of traffic at times, and for us it was definitely easier when not looking like backpackers, but more like beach goers - so great for daytripsday trips, a little less nice when traveling around.
