There are a lot of cars and trucks. Altogether you need to walk 5 to 6 km, but the place is very good! You won't have to wait too long to hitch a ride almost anywhere in Eastern Europe.
Update: Used successfully July 2019. Walking on the L40 felt dangerous (speed of cars) and attracted a lot of negative attention from drivers. Walking through the forest parallel to this road is possible but be prepared to cross very wet ground (swamp/streams).
