If you are in the city of Charleroi and want to take the motorways to Brussels, Mons/Paris or Liège/Germany, the best way is to reach the Square Yernaux (the roundabout with the Marsupilami) and stand along the way in to the A54.

I was at Charleroi Airpot and it is quite expensive to go to center. You can check UBER tho. I just went out from airport and follow the cars to go out and hitchhike somewhere. I think it is called "GATE 2 which is the exit for passengers have own car". I walked around 15 mins. It is on the north side of Airport so after you exit, you should surround airtport. After that there is a small ring turn right and you see the small gap. You can either hitchhike there or walk further to the gas station 10 mins far. I did it and in 2mins 2 cars stopped.
