Thanks for your edit to Hawaii, but please don’t write in first person on Hitchwiki ("There were times where I stuck my thumb out and had people pull over thirty seconds later", "I personally have camped on some of the beach parks in the resort area"). Hitchwiki aims to offer generalized advice independent of any one user's perspective, and besides, on a wiki where there are multiple editors, it's not clear who "I" or "we" are. If you must specify that something was your personal experience (which is rarely necessary, there’s no reason one has to mention oneself at all), please write in the third person and link to your username. Also, please keep the word count down, as the English Hitchwiki is used by many people for whom English is not their first language. Could I encourage you to please go back and make those tweaks to the article? CRCulver (talk) 08:53, 26 September 2013 (CEST)
