When going to Vilnius you take a bus to the motorway. There is a bus stop (look below) on the motorway where it's possible to get rides, but it might also be a good idea to not deal with the hitchhiking competition and place yourself at the entrance of the motorway. Buses 10 16 28 and trolleybuses 3 16 24 can take you to Partizanu street which is very close to motorway.
