From the city center or you have two options: 1. From their, make your way to the ''trempiada'' directing east on [[Highway 1 (IsraelFrench Hill)|Highway 1]] toward the [[Dead Sea]]. Many The place is usually crowded with hitchhikers, and drivers stop often. Most likely they will be heading toward [[Ma'aleh Adumim]]go only half ways, and unless that is where in which case you are going, it is best should ask to wait for another car. If trying to reach the [[Beit Ha'arava Junction]], go down in the entrance entry junction to [[Kfar Adumim]] or the [[Almog Junction]] are not terrible stopping pointstheir settlement, and accepting ''tremps'' heading to those places is recommended if you are having a difficult timecontinue hitchhiking from the bus station.  When reaching the Beit-HaArava junction, next to the border with [[Beit Ha'arava JunctionJordan]], the road turns turn south and from there you can ask to get off in any location at the shore of the dead sea.

Or take buses 25, 4 or 4A from West Jerusalem to get to the [[Har Ha'tsofim Junction]]. This junction is the spot to hitchhike in the direction of the Dead sea, (French Hill). The place is usually crowded with hitchhikers, and drivers stop often. Most likely they will go only half ways, in which case you should ask to go down in the entry junction to their settlement, and continue hitchhiking from the bus station.

From the [[Beit Ha'arava HaArava Junction]], head north on [[Highway 1 (Israel)|Highway 1]] Road 90 until you reach the [[Tsemach Junction]] Junciton at the bottom tip of the [[Yam Kinneret]]. From there, there is a You can either hitchike to [[trempiadaTiberias]] by going westwards on Road 90, or use the Trempiyada (hitching spot) up to the [[Golan Heights|Golan]]. People either drive up to Highway Road 92 or Highway Road 98 from there. Highway Road 98 goes right up to the [[Golan Heights|Golan]], and Higway Road 92 runs along the west coast of the Kinneret from where you can pick up Route Roads 789 or Highway 87 to the [[Golan Heights|Golan]]. Route Highway 789 connects to Highway Road 98 from where you can chose to either continue north or head south. Highway Road 87 also connects to Highway 98, but a bit later, and it also turns west over the Kinneret or east through the center of the [[Golan Heights|Golan]] until it picks up Highway 98 at its end.

===To [[Rammallah]], [[Samaria]] (near North)===Take a city bus (25, 4, or 4a) to the [[Har Ha'tzofim Junction]] and stand there. Rides from here are available to the Ramallah area ([[Ramallah]], [[Ofra]], [[Beit El]], etc.) As well as further in, towards [[Nablus]], via "Tapuach Junction" ([[Tapuach JunctionAriel]] (Kfar Tapuach, Eli, Shiloh, Ariel, [[Salfit]] [[Kedumim]], [[Buddya]] etc.)

===To [[Betlehem]], [[Judea]] (near South)===Take the #31 bus to Giloh (you'll have to ask people how to get to the ''trempiada''). From there you can hitch rides to the [[Betlehem]] and[[Gush Etzion]] area areas,([[Efrat]], [[Betlehem]], [[Alon Shvut]]), etc) , as well as further south, to the [[Hebron]] area of [[Hebron]], [[Kiryat Arba]], Othniel[[Tarqumia]], [[Yatta]], etc. To get to the latter area, however, it is better to hitch a ridge to [[Gush Etzion Junction]] (near [[Alon Shvut]]), and try from there.
