If it seems that police in Balochistan are very much against hitchhiking and will force you onto busses, this is because foreigners regularly get abducted there. In the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) the police are on high alert and a foreigner hitchhiking is to be treated with extreme caution! In 2009 [[User:Xnothingxheldxbackx|User:Taylor]] was illegally detained, beaten, harassed and accused of being CIA spy or being Afghan and having a fake passport. Not good.
