There is a nice gas station, ''Aachener Land'', on the A4, not too far east of Aachen. It's good to get into the Netherlands and Belgium, and on the other side it's probably good to go anywhere in Germany. The fastest way to get there is by taking bus 52 from Bushof. It stops about 600m away from the station (stop Röhe Wasserwerk) and it's easy to get to the other side if necessary. If you have a special permit (available at the [http://www.aseag.de ASEAG] office, according to a bus driver), you can even tell the bus driver to stop directly at the station.
