Abitibi-Temiscamingue is an administrative regions within the province of Quebec in Canada. It located quite north and at the border with Ontario. This exclusively rural and remote region is the gateway to the Trans-Taiga Route heading to James Bay, Radisson and Nunavik. The Transcanadian Highway also crosses the regions coming from Montreal and connecting west in Ontario towards North Bay.
