Austria is a good country for hitchhiking. On the Motorways, you can easily "hop" from city to city. Good places are gas stations.

-When hitchhiking to Hungary, it is very recommended to stand in the entrance of the gas stations holding a sign and being visible for people on the road as well as the people who is coming to the gas station. That will stop a lot of nice and friendly Hungarian people.
