<map lat='-19.82' lng='-43.95' zoom='11' view='0' float='right' /> Belo Horizonte ([bɛloɾiˈzõtʃi], lit. "Beautiful Horizon"), or BH ("Beagá") is situated in the south-east of Brazil. It has a population of 5.4 million and is the third-largest metropolitan area of the country.
This is really a good city to hitchhikers, it has directly roads to main cities as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Salvador and Vitória.

From the center, take bus 2004 in the direction Olhos D'agua. Get out something like 2 stops after the large shopping center Beaga Shopping. There you can start hitchhiking.
