Caracas is the capital of Venezuela.
Hitchhiking out
South or West towards Valencia, Maracay, Merida
Take the metro line 3 to "Mercado". Walk to and alongside the highway until you get to a big PDV gas station. Very good spot and easy to access.
Personal experience:
