The '''Central African Republic''' (CAR) is called after it's location, right in the in the geographic center of [[Africa]]. It has borders with [[Cameroon]], [[Chad]], [[Sudan]], [[South Sudan]], the [[Democratic Republic of the Congo]] and [[Republic of the Congo]].
Apparently the CAR is the most lawless country after Somalia. Expect police to demand bribes often. On top of that, armed gangs are common. Hitchhiking is not recommended here.
