?There are two great places to get out of the city on the A4 east and west.The first spot is on the "Leipziger Straße" - use Bus No 21 "Chemnitz Center"(this is a shopping mall, not the city centre!) to Heidelbergerstr. There are two gasstations where you will easyly find drivers to Dresden and Leipzig. If you want to go west, rather use the buses to the station "Corinthstr." from where you can walk to the gas station on the motorway "Auerswalder Blick" - that will take another 20 min. From there you can easyly hitchhike west and south.
