North toward Malargue (RN40) or Neuquen (RP7)
If you're coming from South on the RN40, don't expect more traffic from here on. Leaving Chos Malal gives you two options: Continuing on RN40 towards Malargue or going back to Neuquen on RP7. Whoever gives you a lift, DO NOT get dropped off at the turnoff from the RN40 to RP7. You might get stuck there for days.
