Costa Rica is a country in Central America. It borders to Panama in the South and Nicaragua in the North.
Hitchhiking isn t that popular for long distance rides however it works pretty well close to beaches and in remote areas where there is almost no public transport. For hitchiking the Interamericana / Panamaercan Highway you might wait a couple of hours.
