Dej is a small town in the Transylvania region of Romania. It is an intersection between two major routes, the E58 running south and east from Baia Mare to Bistrița and the province of Moldavia, and the E567 running south to Cluj-Napoca.

Hitching out

North towards Baia Mare, East towards Bistrița E 58

The intersection to hitchhike from is north of the centre, just after the bridge.

South towards Cluj-Napoca E 567

You can hitchhike from across the street from the train station. A sign reading "CJ" (for Cluj-Napoca) will get you a long-distance lift.
