Hamburg to Copenhagen

From Hamburg to Copenhagen you can hitch to the ferry at Puttgarden, and get a ride straight to Copenhagen. If you ask the people after they paid the ticket you can cross for free (and save 7 euros).

From Denmark Going South

Hitch you self a ride to Media:Padborg, in south Jutland just before the German boarder. Here you’ll find the countries largest truckstop, if not ask around. Most trucks leaving from Denmark stops here. With a little luck you’ll find someone going to most destinations in Europe. Ask the drivers while they are getting ready, filling on gas or walking from the dinner to their car.
