Digihitch is a complete web portal devoted to hitchhiking, with thousands of members around the world and new, original content every day. The site receives over 30,000 visitors each month and has been featured in British, Canadian and U.S. media (television, radio, newspaper, books) many times since it began in March 2001.

Staff and Contributing Editors

The core team of editors at digihitch.com includes Jon 'Hikecrazy' and Morgan 'Sal'man Strub. Both are strong promoters of hitchhiking culture. Morgan has logged over 30,000 miles hitchhiking North America. Jon has hitchhiked over 60,000 miles in Europe and the USA, along with regions of Africa and Asia. The website also has many contributing editors, as you will see on the Featured Writers page listed above.

Mission Statement

Digihitch's goal is to provide a welcome place for hitchhikers around the world, on the web. We believe hitchhiking is a valuable form of travel and exchange, and our team will continue to provide free resources to encourage travelers to hit the road and make the connection.
