Hitching out
There are two good spots to hitchhike in Genova, just before entering the motorway.
Direction Savona, Nice, France, Milan
Take the petrol station just before motorway. You can reach it taking buses that goes to "Sanpierdarena".
Direction La Spezia, Firenze
There is a petrol station near motorway in "Nervi".
Ferrys
Genova has a big ferry terminal. There are many ferrys to Sardegna, but even to Valletta, Malta or to Corse, France, and to Barcelona, Spain.
