Herceg Novi is a little town in Montenegro, located at the Bay of Kotor. In summer, it's crowded with Serbian tourists.

Hitchhiking out

Direction East or South (Niksic, Kotor, Budva, Podgorica)

Walk along the main road or coast road in direction East, until the end of the town (1-2 km from the city center). There is a roundabout that everyone leaving the city has to pass. Definitely enough place to stand. Note that the ferry through the bay of Kotor is free for pedestrians.

Option 2:

Take Bus number 10 to Konavle, it will take you some 2 km before the airport to this spot. It will take you to the mainroad where all cars go towards Montenegro. When you turn off of the main road, get off the bus, most people will get off at that point. From there you can hitchhike from the spot at the house. There is also shadow behind the house which was very important for Flov who hitchhiked out of there with 35degrees successully after 5 minutes at August 18th 2011. The ticket costs about 17 Kunas ≈ 2.30€
