Wikimapia is a wiki based on Google Maps. Probably one of the best ways for this project to include maps.

We can easily link to [1] using standard Google links, e.g. http://www.wikimapia.org/?ll=51.383333,30.1&spn=0.3,0.3&t=k

From a Google link:
