There are a lot of hitchhiking races every summer.

  • Eurizons is an an annual hitchhiking race through Europe with about 50 participants, funded by the European Union including some workshops about the Millennium Development Goals.
  • The Bummit to Belgrade was a hitchhiking with 200 students from Sheffield to Belgrade.
  • The BOC organizes races occasionally just for fun.
  • The Link Community Development organizes an annual race from the UK to Morocco and Prague for charity.
