Currently Hitchwiki has a bunch of administrators (or sysops), people who are able to protect and delete pages.
If you're doing a lot of work on this wiki and it shows that you understand MediaWiki stuff you might suddenly find yourself with admin power. We're not really in need for more admins, but let us know if you want to help.
Admins can:
- protect pages
- delete pages
- block users or IP addresses
- edit system messages for layout and such
Usually these powers (#1 to #3) are only used in case of spam or vandalism.
Bureaucrats can also promote and demote other users.

Check the list of users to exactly see who.
