Currently the Hitchhiking Wiki has a bunch of administratos. Check the list of users to see who. If you're doing a lot of work on this wiki and it shows that you understand MediaWiki stuff you might suddenly find yourself with admin power.

Admins can:

protect pages
delete pages
block users

Usually this is only used in case of spam or vandalism.
