Hitchwiki is a collaborative guide written by and for hitchhikers. On .... 2008 we reached 1000 articles in English. Since the project was started in 2005, it grew constantly, having now more than 400 members from all over the world and articles in 7 languages.
The Hitchwiki is collecting all sort of relevant information about good hitchhiking spots, knowledge about hitchhiking possibilites in different countries, general know-how about what to pack, what to eat, and how to stay safe. There are hundreds of pages about how to leave cities, often including maps.0
