Why add hitchhiking info to this wiki?
Why not add hitchhiking info to Wikitravel
- Because it gets lost in big articles containing irrelevant information for hitchhikers.
- Because Wikitravel likes to delete a lot of stuff.
- Because Wikitravel still doesn't provide a database dump and that is needed to make versions for devices like phones.
Of course, it is suggested you doubly-license your work here under both the GFDL and the CC-BY-SA licenses (all versions, since Wikitravel is still on version 1.0).
Why not add hitchhiking info to Wikipedia
- Because it doesn't really fit well into an encyclopedia.
