The Jędrzychowice border crossing joins Poland and Germany close to the splitted city Görlitz (German part) and Zgorzelec (Polish part). Nowadays the old border check point serves as a parking place. There is a police station and sometimes passing cars are controlled by the police.

In both directions cars have to slow down very much, so it should not to be to hard to catch a lift standing on the road. If you prefer asking stopping cars, more cars and trucks seem to stop at the parking in direction of Dresden, since there is a small shop and you can change money.
