Kemi is a city in Finnish Lapland.
Hitching around
The only road going through Kemi is motorway and it is not always easy to get an onward lift from some places. If you are coming from the north or west and want to go towards Oulu, ask your driver if he might leave you at the petrol station Neste Lapintulli at the southern end of the city.
