La Tuque is a small wood production town in the Mauricie region of Quebec, built along the Route 155 which is the northern extension of the A-55 north of Trois-Rivières.

The city of La Tuque is an obliged passage for everyone travelling on the Trans-Québec Highway between the Lac-Saint-Jean region and the St.Lawrence.
