Limon (Costa Rica)

Limon is a city in Costa Rica.

Puerto Limon is the capital of the province of Limon. The caribean zone of Costa Rica is often seen as totaly different to the rest of the country. Mulatos dominan the cit and the south/easter part of Costa Rica.

Hitching Out

South towards Puerto Viejo, Panama

Very Easy actually. There is one cross before you are actually entereing Limon. There is a bus station and a Texaco Gas station. Each car heading south passes by there. It s kind of red light district and people warn you if ou hitchhike there. So watch out a bit especisally at night.

Public transport

It s worth to take a bus if you are waiting at night. It s cheap and safe.
