M25 is the large ringroad around London, which is a boon to hitchers. It is hugely busy and I've generally had good results hitching round it. The sliproads are OK for hitching, especially onto other motorways. The A12 turnoff always felt a bit doubtful, but I never got really stuck there. The only thing you have to watch is that you don't miss the junctions.
