Catch a bus to Terminal de Transportes de Malhampsene on the EN4 and there should be good pullover areas after the Av. Des Industrias and EN4 intersection.
The border is easily crossable on foot and 500 meters after the border on the south african side there is a gas station with a good hitch-spot!
Direction Xai-Xai, Beira
Catch the bus to Zimpeto Square close to the bus Zona Verde busstop. This roundabout looks relatively good for hitching as cars are driving slowly.
